We understand that for many a UK staycation without the "fur kids" is no holiday or break at all. Thus when we built our 3 unique luxury dog friendly cottages we did it from the discerning dogs point of view, and then we thought we better make them super comfortable for our human guests as well. REACTIVE DOGS
Don't worry if you have a reactive dog. Many of our K9 guests are reactive for a number of different reasons from those that are rescue people and had a bad start in life to those who have been attacked by other dogs and all across the spectrum. We designed and built our 3 cottages and their gardens with the reaactive dog in mind. The garden fencing is close board and as such the gardens are very private. We do find that the majority of reactive woofers settle very fast in our cottages as they know that they are truly welcome. The Quantocks are wonderfully quiet and if you see another person out on your walkies it would be unusual.

Our 3 secure dog exercise fields are exclusively for the use of the k9 guests staying in our 3 private country cottages. "Mini Bark" & "Central Bark" are opposite Coleridge & Greenway Cottages. Mini Bark has an agility course and central bark is a large space perfect for tossing balls and Frisbees. The Woodland Scent Zone is up near the Quantock Hide. It is a 1.5 acre doggie woodland play ground complete with agility course.

The Quantock's are made up of glorious open moorland which has steep stream laced wooded coombes and colourful heathland and bonus with the coast down the lane you could visit for a month and never need to cross your tracks.

HEAD TO A SOMERSET DOG FRIENDLY BEACH
Did you know that Somerset has got the most dog friendly beaches of any county in the whole of the UK - how megga is that! Our nearest beach is Kilve, which is just 1.5 miles away. It is a pebbly beach but much fun can be had hunting for fossiles and there are glorious walks along the cliff tops. The nearest sandy beaches of Blue Anchor and Dunster are only a short drive away.

THEIR OWN PRIVATE SPA
Because you have a hot tub we thought it only fair that the four legged family members have their own spa unit as well. So by the front door of each cottage is said bathing area which consists of hot and cold shower, bath tub and drying bench. Important musts for those who love to frollic in the mud or dash in the sand or for those who are partial to wearing a bit fox or badger No2's as perfume - our dogs definiatley fit in to this unfortunate catagory!
DOG SITTING / DAY CARE & PET FOOD DELIVERY
Whilst pretty much everywhere in Somerset is dog friendly and this includes the beaches and the pubs. If however you want to go for a days shopping or want to have a peaceful couple of days and nights on your own, then there are local day and boarding kennels details of which are in the digital guide that you will be sent once you have booked your stay. PET FOOD DELIVERY To save you space in your car, or particularly if you feed raw why not have the local pet shop which is called Quntock Pet & Equine deliver your woofies own brand food direct to the cottage so its ready for when you arrive. When you book your break with us we will send you a link to our App which has all the details of of the pet shops on so you can make arrangements direct with them.

We have stayed in many many so called luxury dog friendly cottages around the UK and I can honestly say that this beautiful cottage hands down is the very best that we have ever stayed at. Every little thought, every little detail for both humans and dogs has been has been done so beautifully and it is so refreshing to find that dog friendly really means that and that luxury and comfort for all guaranteed. Both us and Molly and Roxie loved all the little personal touches and we can't thank you enough. We don't usually go back to the same area but we have already booked another holiday with you later on this year and also 2 for next year - the dogs told us that we would be in trouble if we did not !!
