Simon & I created our Quantock Cottages because we couldn't find the kind of holiday we wanted to take with our own dogs.
Somewhere with secure gardens and private dog fields where they could run, sniff and simply be dogs.
For us, we wanted a home-from-home and plus some. A place that had deep sofas, crackling fires, hot tubs and beautiful interiors we'd enjoy coming back to.
That was 16 years ago. Around 75% of our guests return, and we average 98% occupancy year after year, so we think other folk agree.

If your dog needs a little more space from the world, we understand. Our secure private spaces mean they can relax and enjoy their holiday without having to share.
Our boutique retreats are hidden within the Quantock Hills, surrounded by open countryside, woodland walks, and complete peace.
Because properly dog-friendly shouldn't mean compromising on your holiday either.
Private chef or locally prepared meals, delivered to your cottage and ready when you are.
In-cottage massages. No driving. No leaving the dogs. Just face down on a massage table for an hour or two
Thousands of acres of hills, woods and tracks begin at your garden gate.

Or turn around and go straight back to the hot tub!

With just four places to stay and many of our guests returning not just year after year but often several times a year, we do get booked up, and popular dates can disappear rather quickly.
If the dates you're looking for aren't available, be the first to hear when we have a cancellation, release new dates, or offer a lovely last-minute opportunity.

When you book your stay at our Quantock Cottages, you book directly with us. No third-party holiday cottage agency, no anonymous call centre. From your first question to the time you leave, you're dealing with us.
We want you to feel as though you are coming to stay with us, and not a soulless holiday cottage where you are just a number. We genuinely care and do everything possible to try and ensure that you — and your dogs - have a wonderful holiday.
